Pasquini's on Broadway

We had a design meeting last night for Truth & Rights, a non-profit/ publication that I do work for (do yourself a favor and check it out, Denverites!). Originally the plan was to meet at the Open Tap (a VERY dog friendly establishment), but once we arrived, we found that the loud band outside was not conducive to conversation, therefore we decided to move down the street a bit. Pasquini’s is an incredibly delicious pizzeria/pasta joint with three locations in Denver. This particular evening, we were at the Broadway location in Englewood (1310 South Broadway @Louisiana). This spot recently added on a spectacular patio on the Louisiana side, but since it was such a gorgeous night, the patio was ultimately full. There are few tables on the old Broadway entrance, and the staff suggested we sit out front with the Rockster. Everyone was incredibly nice, coming out to pet the pooch, and even bringing him a few slices of salami! Boy, was someone excited… We managed to have a very engaging conversation about our next Volume and Symposium, and chowed down on some delicious food. I had a calzone that was litterly the size of a small country. Needless to say, I could only finish about a 1/4 of it. Nicholas had a sausage sandwhich that looked pretty tasty, while Dan had a chicken pesto foccacia and Tim had the stuffed shells. It was all amazing, and I have to thank the staff at Pasquini’s for being so sweet to my dog. I have a feeling it’s not necessarily a place to frequent with your pup, but if it happens to be a quiet night with empty tables out front, I say treat your pooch to a couple slices of salami at Pasquini’s!
